Yesterday the trees fell on our property. The loggers asked Paul if he wanted to fall a tree, which he did in style . They completely cut down all of the trees that we had marked and suggested a few more that were unmarked be removed because they were old and showed some decay. We left trees at the front of the property and of course there are 6 acres of woods behind us that are currently listed as "wet lands". For those "Tree Huggers" there are still plenty of trees around us. Today we meet to decide where the house will sit on the property. I'm hopeful that even though we now have neighbors close by, we can position the house to block our views of them and they of us.
